Most photos will hopefully reveal something about me as a person. But sometimes they will simply reveal my artistic vision and philosophy (which is always undergoing definition and revision).

Today’s photo probably most accurately depicts a portion of my artistic vision. Simplicity. Solitude. Finding beauty in the singular. Open to interpretation.

Balloons released into the air are a bit sad to me. I tend to think of a child who accidentally let it go and is now sad they no longer have the balloon. Simple things can be so important to children, but adults as well. It may not mean much to others, but for the owner, it can mean everything.

It’s important to respect what others find important, even if its seemingly trivial. The hidden meaning can be greater than you could ever imagine.
